The Martial Arts is a life long journey of self expression, not just a means of self defence, although this is certainly an excellent added benefit. Martial Artists of all levels are constantly learning and growing, nothing remains still for any length of time.
This very much inspires me to continue to aim for the highest level and to try and be the very best I can be, as a person as well as a Martial Artist.
I was very honoured to be asked to train the Royal Navy Karate Team in preparation for their annual tournament, which I accepted and enjoyed doing so for a number of years.
As well as teaching regular classes, I currently teach private lessons and I am also asked to provide workshops and seminars for various groups such as youth club organisations and schools.
I am very proud to have such dedicated and fantastic students and also instructors who assist me in running the school. We all socialise outside of class on a regular basis and enjoy evenings to the cinema, pubs and restaurants - even if the conversation always returns to Martial Arts!!
I have genuinely loved every minute of my Martial Arts journey and I hope to continue for as long as I possibly can. I hope you will climb aboard and share this life long journey with me.
